Brazilian Award Recognizes Undergraduate Students for Impactful Projects
The 'Na Prática Protagonismo Universitário' award is open for applications until August 23, 2026, recognizing Brazilian undergraduate students for impactful projects across various fields. The initiative includes regional finalists, a leadership immersion in São Paulo, and an international trip to China for the winners.

The 'Na Prática Protagonismo Universitário' award is now accepting applications from undergraduate students across Brazil until August 23, 2026. Organized by the educational platform Na Prática, the initiative aims to celebrate students who develop impactful projects during their studies, spanning areas such as research, entrepreneurship, culture, sports, technology, and social action.
## Eligibility and Participation
Students enrolled in any undergraduate program at higher education institutions, as well as those graduating in the first half of 2026, are eligible to apply. There are no minimum grade requirements, and participants from all academic disciplines are welcome.
Projects can include scientific research, technology initiatives, volunteer work, junior enterprises, business ventures, artistic and cultural productions, sports achievements, and efforts in law, communication, education, and human sciences. Professional experiences with proven impact are also accepted.
Anamaíra Spaggiari, CEO of Na Prática, emphasizes the importance of student initiative: *The protagonism doesn’t start after graduation. It emerges when a student identifies a problem or opportunity and takes action to address it. Sharing these stories creates a positive cycle, encouraging others to follow suit.*
## Selection Process and Prizes
Interested candidates must register on the award’s website. The selection process includes screening, interviews, logical reasoning assessments, and regional panels.
In October, 15 finalists will be invited to a four-day in-person immersion in São Paulo, with all expenses covered. The program features company visits, leadership development courses, and project presentations to an evaluation board.
Five winners-one from each Brazilian region-will be announced at an event. The top prize is a week-long educational trip to China in January 2027, covering flights, accommodation, meals, and translation. During the trip, students will visit universities, innovation centers, and companies, focusing on technology and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, all 15 finalists will receive a scholarship for the *Execução de Alta Performance* course, a mentorship program with business leaders, and access to a network of former finalists.
## Past Editions
The 2025 edition attracted over 8,000 applications from across Brazil. The 15 finalists presented projects in fields such as health, technology, engineering, law, public health, humanitarian efforts, financial markets, biological sciences, astrobiology, and environmental conservation.
Spaggiari highlights the award’s mission: *We aim to showcase what happens when students move from being passive observers to active participants in their own education.*
