Academia LED Hosts Free Lecture on AI's Impact on Content Production at UFRJ

The Academia LED Globo is organizing a free and open lecture at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on content production.

The lecture, which will take place on Wednesday, 19th of August, will start at 8:30 am in the Auditório Horta Barbosa, located in the Centro de Tecnologia da UFRJ, in the Cidade Universitária, Ilha do Fundão.

The event is aimed at university students from different courses and institutions and will explore how the advancement of AI tools is changing the way content is produced, as well as discussing the importance of creativity and critical thinking in an increasingly automated environment.

The debate will feature several speakers, including Ben-Hur Correa, a journalist from Globo and researcher in artificial intelligence; Camila Achutti, founder and CEO of Mastertech; Bruno Natal, a journalist and documentarist; and José Almeida Jr., Head of VFX at Globo.

The lecture is free, but prior registration is required.

## Launch of National Call for University Students

Following the lecture, the Academia LED Globo will launch a national call for university students interested in artificial intelligence.

The initiative aims to select young students for a practical experience alongside professionals working with the transformations caused by technology within Globo. The details, criteria, and registration process will be presented during the event.

The Academia LED Globo was created to bring the company closer to the academic environment and promote the exchange of experiences between professionals, students, teachers, and universities.

The initiative is part of the LED Movement - Light in Education, a joint effort between Globo and the Fundação Roberto Marinho, aimed at recognizing and promoting innovative practices in education.
